Great architecture deserves to be seen. For Anolis, a Czech manufacturer of architectural lighting, this is more than just a phrase—it’s a mission. Together, we created a visual identity that captivated not only industry professionals but also the jury of the Red Dot Design Award.
During this project, we developed our own internal software for comparing and verifying PDF files in French and English.
The iconic Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, a lecture hall at the Louvre, or the Baťa skyscraper in Zlín—Anolis was already a well-established brand among architects and lighting professionals from the very start of our collaboration. But with the launch of a new product line, we aimed to connect with a new target audience: Designers and Decision Makers.
Printed product documentation, manuals, or promotional flyers—these are things you won’t find at Anolis. The company has long focused on printing only what’s absolutely necessary. The one exception? Their catalog, which from the very start was held to the highest standards.
We wanted designers and architects to experience the same feeling while browsing as they do when selecting premium furniture or electronics for their projects. At the same time, we kept technicians in mind, ensuring they had access to precise data and tables. The result is a seamless blend of a sales and technical catalog—without compromising clarity or minimalism.
Printing is half the battle. We carefully selected the right paper, but the cover… but that one took years off our lives. Our idea to print the logo with a holographic foil turned into a challenge when we realized that only one printing house in the Czech Republic could handle it at that scale. But in the end—it was worth it!
You’ll find the red dot not only in the logo but also among the trophies.
In 2022, the Anolis catalog earned the prestigious Red Dot Award.
A year later, it stepped into the spotlight at the Zlatý středník competition, securing 2nd place in the “Brochure, Yearbook, Catalog” category.
